The Anne is the place where Anne Frank and her family spend hiding for two years until their capture on 4 August 1944 by the Nazis.

This is where Anne Frank wrote her famous diary. The Anne Frank House is a short walk away from  the Avenue Hotel. Our reception staff will gladly provide you with directions.

During weekends and holiday periods the Anne Frank house is incredibly busy. To avoid long queues it is recommended to buy on online ticket and to visit the museum in the late afternoon, early evening hours (when most people think the museum is closed).

March 15 to September 14: from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (till 10pm on Saturdays)
July and August: from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
September 15 to March 14: from 9:00 till 7:00pm.
Last admittance: 30 minutes prior to closing.
