The RIjksmuseum is the State Museum, of the Netherlands, It is housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in Amsterdam. The collection consists of  1.1 million objects from and about the Netherlands, dating from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The main building is currently being renovated. The Masterpieces (four hundred of the finest works from the 17th century) are on display in the Philips Wing.  In 2013, the Rijksmuseum will open its doors to the public completely renovated.

The Rijksmuseum is a pleasant walk from the Avenue Hotel Amsterdam or a short tram ride away. It can be combined with a visit to the Van Gogh museum which is situated behind the Rijksmuseum. Our reception team will gladiy provide you with the necessary information you may need.
